What once started as a modest hobby...

Cees and Herman Stolte began collecting vintage scooters in 1998. What once started as a modest hobby grew into their greatest passion. They primarily focused on finding unique Italian models from the 1960s and 1970s, each with its own story.

Some of these vintage scooters were so rare that they were invited by the authors of the unique Italian book "Febbre a 50" to collaborate, as there were models they were unaware of. The books showcase the specimens they have lovingly restored and found over the years, sometimes even in various other countries.

Rediscovered Passions: A New Chapter for Cees and Herman

Born and raised in Staphorst, Cees and Herman each followed their own path. Cees firmly rooted himself in the butcher industry, dedicating himself to his craft. Meanwhile, Herman pursued the craftsmanship of furniture making and upholstery, where he could express his creativity and skill. Over time, they joined forces and started an international business as wholesalers in beef processing, based in the bustling town of Meppel.

After many years of dedication to their respective careers and building a successful business, Cees and Herman decided to embark on a new journey. Their lives, once filled with the hustle and bustle of business and striving for professional success, have now transitioned into a more relaxed and fulfilling lifestyle.

It wasn't so much a radical change as it was a natural evolution. Gradually, they began to realize that there was more to life than just work and business obligations. They started looking back at the things that had once brought them joy and satisfaction in their youth.

So, they decided to reignite their passions. In 1998, they began to spend their free time exploring the world of vintage mopeds.
